Believes healthcare is a human right
MA ranks as the 2nd best state for healthcare, and has the lowest uninsured population – thanks to innovative, humane programs like MassHealth that ensure everyone can access affordable care.
Defends human rights
MA is in the top tier of the Human Right's Campaign State Scorecards for social equality along with 19 other states, and continues to defend women's reproductive rights.
Cares for our environment
MA ranks 4th on environmental health and 6th on eco-friendliness. Sen. Ed Markey helped introduce the Green New Deal, and our state has among the strongest environmental protections in America.
Values education and science
MA ranks 2nd for education, has the highest college graduation rates, produces critical academic research, and is one of the only states with a policy roadmap for school choice.
And I'll fight hard for these values.
We need bold progressive leaders who will stand up to bullies and take a stand for human dignity. We need policies that promote economic and social justice, a government that responds to our needs, and a serious plan to combat climate change. I will tirelessly fight for the policies that will advance those goals.
